Suggested further reading. Recognising the potential educational content of our website we have decided to set up this new page with suggested books and resources for the use of teachers and pupils in Kenya, East Africa & elsewhere in the world. The following books are from MacMillan-Africa ‘Living Earth’ and ‘Living Health’ series for primary schools and are considered as a suitable educational accompaniment to the natural & cultural heritage, sustainable resource management and health-care aspects of this website.

This story takes place in a semi-arid or desert environment. Although set in North Africa, the water issues tackled are slso spplicable to the arid & semi-arid areas of Kenya.
